Melanotan 2 is a synthetic version of bio-identical that has been engineered to stimulate the production and secretion of melanocortin stimulating or what is popularly known as a-MSH. Has show effectiveness in melanogenesis and has numerous aphrodisiac properties, the peptide is cyclic and falls under the category of lactams, with an amino acid sequence of Ac-Nle-cyclo [Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-NH2. Melanotan 2 was first synthesized in the university of Arizona and scientists during cancer research. It is scientifically known that a skin with activated melanin is less prone to cancer.
